Independent Brewery & Taproom

Raising the profile of the Brewery through sales and business development with local bars, pubs as well as distributors and suppliers.

Creating and running events at the taproom to bring in new customers and revenue.  These include the Euros, launch of the Comedy Club, Oktoberfest, Christmas Corporate parties, monthly music nights, Aston Villa legends Q & A as well as collaborating with local and global breweries.

Cluj Card, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Our own project, we saw an opportunity on a weekend trip to Cluj, so decided to go back and launch the Cluj Card!

The vision was to build a product that helps people save money whilst experiencing and exploring new places in Cluj, trying new places for food, drink and experiences. From a business point of view, the aim was to increase footfall and attract new customers to businesses. 

Not knowing one person when we landed in Cluj-Napoca, we managed to build a network, launch a brand, partner with 50 businesses, and host 6 events, and even hosted the prestigious annual Meet the Mayor event, all in the space of 8 months!

Multi-award winning Brewery

Tasked with growing their database, finding new customers to approach, increase their reach geographically, onboard new distributors, as well as selling the beer into CAMRA festivals.  We applied for and gained places at local festivals, markets and events as their pop-up bar, increasing revenue and also brand awareness as well as introducing the brewery to new customers in new geographical areas.

Independent, award winning spiced rum

Working on a business to business basis, introducing the rum brand to bars, hotels and restaurants across Yorkshire through our network of contacts within the hospitality industry.  This includes organising events at specific venues to promote and showcase the Rum to potential customers, suppliers and clients.  

On a business to consumer basis, working on opportunities for the brand to be present at local farmers markets, food and drink festivals and Christmas tradeshows and markets.

The first and only no carbohydrate, zero sugar beer in the UK

Created by professional sports stars in the UK, a revolutionary beer that is disrupting the craft beer scene in both the UK and Australia.

We helped with cross promotion at our events with pop-up stalls, as well as applying for local farmers markets, resulting in them having stalls at markets in some of the busiest towns and cities in Yorkshire.

Sustainable craft brewery

To increase the sales function and profile within the North of England as well as introduce the brand
into pop-ups, markets and festivals, increasing both B2B and B2C opportunities and sales. 
We have increased their sales through researching target clients, building and developing relationships, arranging face to face meetings with the decision makers and follow ups.   

The company has attended music festivals, markets including Country Living and BBC Countryfile Christmas in the Park.

Independent German & Belgian Beer house

Overseeing the introduction and successful launch of the company website as well as being involved in the recruitment process for new staff; writing job descriptions, advertising roles and screening candidates.  

Building relationships with businesses and the local community, managing and increasing ticket sales for events including Oktoberfest, Halloween and Chouffe parties as well as introducing large corporate bookings. Launching co-working space initiative and the new menus.

To increase corporate footfall, we implemented and successfully helped launch their own in-house monthly networking event to increase brand awareness and corporate opportunities.  

Award winning, chocolate brownie company

Brought on board to represent the company at farmers markets, food and drinks festivals and local community events.  

Researching and applying for markets and events as well as being present at each, selling the products and upselling as much as possible - beating our given targets for selling and profits.

Homeless charity covering West Yorkshire

Events:  Implementing and organising large scale events, finding and working with appropriate venues, negotiating rates and contracts, organising all aspects and details of each event from start to finish.  Everything from creating sponsorship packages, press releases and marketing packs, to using our current contacts and building relationships, making sales calls, gaining sponsors and attendees for events, organising the entertainment, liaising with venues and organising fundraising initiatives for the events.

Fundraising:  Putting fundraising processes and procedures in place, giving support on the fundraising plan and generating income – recruiting fundraisers as well as writing a fundraising handbook, training new staff, implementing targets, introducing contacts across sectors including hospitality, retail, finance, accountancy resulting in new corporate supporters, donations of raffle prizes and opportunities to raise awareness for the charity.

High end recipe kits, creating Michelin-star meals at home

Developing new relationships and business opportunities on both a business to business and business to consumer basis.  

Introducing the brand to decision makers within corporates, having success introducing the brand to well known hotels and high end apartments, creating marketing and promotional opportunities through our network – getting the brand on radio stations and looking into events and opportunities for collaborations.

On a business to consumer basis, looking at opportunities to represent the brand directly to customers through farmers markets and food and drink festivals.

Men's fashion brand

A cutting edge, independent fashion label, that not only looks good, but does good, by encouraging men to open up and discuss their mental health.  

We worked closely with them organising the launch of their brand at one of the UK's premier hotel brands.   Organising guest speakers, a pop-up shop, champagne on arrival, DJ's, press, and a guest list of influential people and investors.

We also helped them build partnerships with leading UK gym brands, gained them invites and features on podcasts and worked closely with them on their business plan.

Interior Design Agency

Working with a leading Leeds based Design Agency, specialising in creating work spaces.

Connecting the agency with partnership and collaboration opportunities as well as creating and growing the client database and seeking opportunities.

We introduced the agency to one of the UK's largest commercial real estate companies, as well as organised bespoke client parties on the agency's behalf in venues the agency had designed, enabling past clients, future clients and creatives to get together as well as showcase the agency's work in the venues they had designed.

Men's mental health charity

Putting together a music and food festival with overnight camping in Shaftesbury with a month’s notice and very little budget, working remotely having never seen the site until 4 days before the event.  

Selling 100% more tickets than originally expected, organising licenses and permits with the council, building relationships within the local community which resulted in 5 DJ’s, 5 bands, staging, sound and lighting as well as the emergency services supporting the event for free, we recruited volunteers to help on the day, organised 4 bars, as well as food and hot drink vendors and a pop-up merchandise stand.

Facilities Management Recruitment firm

Developing new relationships and business opportunities, winning national and regional accounts within the Building, Services and Facilities Management sector.

Successfully gained places on Preferred Supplier Lists with some of the UK's most recognised businesses including a luxury accommodation provider and Property and Construction company.  

Planning and launching a successful marketing campaign through COVID, to help candidates back into work, targeting clients with a promotional offer on their first placement.
